TalkTV airs humiliating blow to Keir Starmer: ‘He needs to resign!”.uk

TalkTV presenter Mike Graham hit out at Keir Starmer after he claimed the Supreme Court’s ruling on the legal definition of a woman has provided “clarity”.

TalkTV aired a humiliating blow to Keir Starmer following his comments about the Supreme Court’s on the legal definition of a woman. Nearly one week after the ruling was made, the prime minister publicly commented for the first time and said the judgment provided “clarity” that “a woman is an adult female”.

All five judges in the Supreme Court ruled that the terms “sex” and “woman” in the 2010 Equality Act “refer to a biological woman and biological sex”. TalkTV presenter Mike Graham slammed the Labour leader as he declared: “Nobody needed clarity on what a woman is.” Speaking to political journalist Joanna Bell, he continued: “Most women can see that you’re a woman. Most women can see when women are not women.”

The 64-year-old claimed the prime minister is “hiding behind legal framework again”, adding: “He got it wrong.”

Mr Starmer previously said that “trans women are women” but has now done a complete U-turn as he said: “A woman is an adult female, and the court has made that absolutely clear.”

Graham continued: “When he said in 2023 that it’s not just my opinion that trans women are women, it’s the law. He got the law wrong.”

Issuing a brutal blow to the politician, Bell declared: “People are calling for Keir to apologise but at this point I think he needs to resign if he can’t identify what a biological woman is.

“Women were persecuted, some of them were forced to take their employers to court for discrimination because they were fired over so-called transphobia.”

She added: “At this point, his position and Angela Rayner‘s is untenable. They threw all women in this country under the bus and they need to stand down or at least make some big waves in making up for what they did to women and that was betraying every woman in Britain.”

Asked if Sir Keir still believes that a transgender woman was a woman, the prime minister’s official spokesman said: “No, the Supreme Court judgment has made clear that when looking at the Equality Act, a woman is a biological woman.”

The spokesman added: “That is set out clearly by the court judgment.”
