Shocking moment bus driver shoves 77-year-old pensioner making him fall and break shoulder
The bus driver’s defence said the victim had threatened him by saying “what he would do to him if he were 20 years younger”.

This is the moment a bus driver shoved a pensioner onto the street during an argument. Kyle Howles, 31, pushed the 77-year-old man from the vehicle, leading the OAP to fall and break his shoulder.
The two got into a verbal spat following a previous incident in which the driver had clashed with a cyclist, the Press and Journal in Scotland reported. Video from his cab shows the older man and Howles rowing and pointing – before the pensioner pulled open his cab.
Howles then shoved him and he landed on the pavement.
He appeared in Aberdeen Sheriff Court on November 11, where he pleaded “guilty under provocation” to one count of assault.
He received a fine of £320, which included a £20 victim surcharge.

Howel’s defence said the victim had threatened him by saying “what he would do to him if he were 20 years younger”, the Press and Journal reported.
The footage was released by the Crown Office.
A spokesperson for First Bus said: “The video footage of this incident is truly shocking, and we’d like to extend our apologies to the passenger involved.

“It goes without saying that this sort of behaviour from one of our drivers is completely unacceptable, and we can confirm that he was dismissed shortly after the incident following a full investigation.
“We also fully cooperated with the police during their enquiries.”
