Shocking new figures reveal that foreign nationals committed at least 208,072 serious offences – including rape, robbery, violence, and theft – across England and Wales between 2020 and 2024, according to data uncovered by Nigel Farage‘s Reform UK party. The statistics, branded “disgraceful” by critics, appear to highlight what Reform UK calls a hidden crisis fuelled by decades of weak immigration enforcement under both Conservative and Labour governments.
Reform UK obtained the data through Freedom of Information (FOI) requests to all 43 police forces in England and Wales. Only 11 forces provided usable responses, reporting 124,125 offences involving violence against the person and 35,377 thefts. The remaining 32 forces either refused or claimed collating the information would exceed cost limits.

London’s Metropolitan Police classified thousands of crimes under “unknown nationality,” which sometimes accounted for 80-90% of cases in certain categories, according to The Sun.
Reform UK extrapolated the incomplete figures to arrive at the national estimate of over 208,000, insisting the true total is likely far higher due to inconsistent recording practices.
Zia Yusuf, Reform UK’s head of policy, said: “These disgraceful numbers – over 200,000 serious crimes by foreign nationals – are just the tip of the iceberg. All thanks to the Uniparty’s deliberate weakness on immigration and crime. Labour and the Tories have failed us for decades, refusing to deport offenders or secure our borders despite their empty promises.”
Mr Yusuf accused authorities of deliberately concealing the scale of the issue while British families endure rising burglary, robbery, and street violence. He pledged that a Reform Government would impose an immediate freeze on non-essential immigration, deport all foreign criminals on “day one,” and mandate every police force to accurately record offender nationality.
2% of the prison population – more than 10,000 inmates – costing taxpayers an average £54,000 per place annually.
A Home Office spokesman said last night: “The Home Secretary has recently announced sweeping reforms to tackle illegal migration.
“They will make Britain a less attractive destination for illegal migrants and will make it easier to remove and deport them.
“All Foreign National Offenders who receive a prison sentence in the UK are referred for deportation at the earliest opportunity.”
The revelations come amid intensifying political debate over immigration and crime. Reform UK, surging in polls, has made border security a centrepiece of its platform. Critics argue that incomplete police data undermines sweeping claims, but the party insists the FOI findings expose systemic failures.
As pressure mounts on the Labour Government, Mr Yusuf warned: “Enough is enough – time to put the British people first.”
