Reform UK’s Zia Yusuf in Sky News shouting match as furious host starts finger jabbing

A Sky News host ended up in a finger-pointing clash with Reform UK’s Zia Yusuf as he lost his cool live on air

Reform’s Zia Yusuf locked horns with a Sky News presenter, Wilfred Frost, this morning, with the two men ending up in a shouting match over Sir Keir Starmer and Nigel Farage. During the explosive interview, Yusuf shared: “Just this morning, I was in the car here and someone on Twitter said a sniper rifle is the only thing that could stop Nigel Farage. I’ve seen people try to attack Nigel and try to attack our supporters….”

Frost attempted to interject, but Yusuf kept speaking over him. The host started to lose his patience and used hand gestures to try to get his points across. He said: “Not only are you claiming the Prime Minister wishes harm upon Nigel Farage, you are basically saying he’s a terrorist.”

The Reform UK MP boldly stated: “Here’s what I think, if anything was to happen to Nigel Farage, we would hold the Prime Minister directly responsible.”

Clearly shocked at his comment, the host said: “Nobody wants that, I think that’s the point. Nobody wishes that to happen. ”

When Yusuf said “nobody knows anyone’s intent”, the host erupted and pointed his finger in his face, saying: “That’s the point, that’s what I am asking you…”

The politician continued to lambast Starmer, claiming he mostly “reads from an autocue” and “doesn’t even know what he believes” as the pair shouted at one another.

“You’re trying to claim you know what is in the Prime Minister’s mind to quite an extraordinary degree,” the presenter added as he tried to regain his composure.

However, his calmness only last a few moments as the MP continued to challenge him and the pair continued to wave their fingers at one another.

Frost’s body language looked tense as the pair kept rowing throughout the interview, and fans were quick to comment.

One person shared, ” It was Remarkable watching Sky News with Reform Zia Yusuf. The interviewer became angry and agitated and showed a loss of temper, yet 10 minutes later, the same interviewer displayed politeness, calm, and professionalism when dealing with 2 Labour spokesmen. The level of bias was obvious.”

A second penned: “Zia Yusuf begins his interview on Sky News, accusing Labour of inciting violence against Farage. He & the interviewer go to and fro on this for 11 minutes! After 11 minutes, Frost says, Let’s bring this back to policy. They do that for 3 minutes & the interview is then over.”
