But a No 10 spokesman hit back at Mr Farage, saying: “Nigel Farage can pose as a man of the people all he likes but his record speaks for itself: fawning over Putin, opposing employment rights and proposing the abolition of the NHS.”
In his speech, Mr Farage will commit to restoring winter fuel payments in full and scrapping the two-child benefit cap.
The Prime Minister announced at PMQs last week that he would make changes to the deeply unpopular winter fuel policy, which was widely blamed for Labour’s pummelling in the local elections.
Labour has faced an ongoing backlash for axing the allowance for most pensioners in the autumn budget last October.
Meanwhile, the Government is also facing intense pressure from its backbenchers to scrap the two-child benefit cap.
It comes as Reform is riding high in the opinion polls after its victories in the local elections and the Runcorn and Helsby by-election, according to YouGov.
It is the most popular political party with voters, followed by Labour, the Liberal Democrats and then the Tories in a historic fourth place.
