The woman laughed as she was escorted down the plane’s aisle away from the flight attendants after throwing punches.
Dramatic footage shows an angry plane passenger attacking two cabin crew members mid-flight. Video taken from on board the plane shows a woman, reportedly 39 years of age, landing several blows before other passengers stepped in and restrained her.
Local media reported the woman was behaving aggressively just seven minutes into the Pobeda Airlines flight from Novosibirsk to Moscow in Russia. She was reportedly handed a document detailing the in-flight conduct rules, which she allegedly screwed up and threw at a flight attendant, before tempers escalated further after being told she could not use her phone. Witnesses told media in Russia she struck two flight attendants several times in the head.

The footage, shared by Daily Goat, which seems to be from one of the plane’s CCTV cameras, appears to show at least five punches being made against two cabin crew members, leaving one in tears.
The other flight attendant, who seemingly bore the brunt of the punches, can be seen speaking to the woman with red hair who appears angry, seconds before the attack on August 23.
After passengers stepped in to break out the attack, the woman appeared to laugh as she was escorted down the plane’s aisle away from the staff.

According to The Sun, she was tied up and held until the plane touched down at Sheremetyevo Airport in the Russian capital.
A rapid response team then boarded the plane and removed her from the flight.
A spokesperson from Russia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the attack, explaining protocol had been drawn up against her for petty hooliganism, per The Sun.
The offence usually carries a fine or a short prison sentence.
A police investigation is ongoing.
