Moment Lee Anderson gets in ‘scuffle’ with anti-Brexit campaigner as cops step in

Lee Anderson and anti-Brexit activist in ‘heated altercation’

Reform UK MP Lee Anderson and “stop Brexit man” Steve Bray were involved in a “scuffle” in dramatic scenes in Westminster yesterday. The incident occurred following Prime Minister’s Questions (PMQs) when the Reform chief whip tried to remove Mr Bray’s hat.

Shocking video footage shows the two men physically engage, with Mr Anderson reaching for Bray’s hat, which GB News reported “wouldn’t come off” and may have been “glued on”. It is believed Mr Anderson was drawn to the anti-Brexit campaigner because he was shouting at him through a megaphone across Parliament Square. Mr Bray allegedly branded the former Tory party deputy chairman “a coward, a thug, a thief” before the pair physically came together.

During the altercation, Mr Bray asked Mr Anderson: “How many parties have you been in, Lee? You just jump ship.” Mr Anderson’s response was unclear, but as he spoke he appeared to try to grab Mr Bray’s hat.

In response, Mr Bray exclaimed “that’s assualt”, before pushing Mr Anderson. The police broke the pair up, and Mr Anderson pointed at Mr Bray, and said: “He’s a thug, he needs arresting.”

Following the clash, Mr Bray told GB News: “He likes the attention. I like to show him up.”
