Political commentator Aman Bhogal argued with Ed Gemmell on “taking action” over the small boat crisis in France
A huge row occurred on GB News between guests Aman Bhogal and Ed Gemmell as they argued about “taking action” regarding the small boat crisis in France. Leader of the Climate Party Ed Gemmell clashed with political commentator Aman after the latter said: “The only way it is going to work is to drop them off back in France.” Aman said that it would be a simple solution to drop them off in Calais and that “it would stop in 24 hours”. However, Ed argued that the scenario is “impossible”, but Aman said: “French law and order has broken down completely. It’s about time Britain took action. The time for that is way past. We’ve had immigration officers – it doesn’t work! What are the French going to do – go to war with us?”
Ed then shot back: “Okay, what are you going to do? Drop them in the port in Calais and just push them off the side? Really? That doesn’t sound very thought-through.”

One person who was watching at home said in the comment section: “Aman is saying what literally everyone says should be happening. Our naval boats in the channel and drag them back in to French waters or the coast. Why are we still sending money to France when they don’t do the job they are paid vast amounts to do !!”
A second also chimed in: “Couldn’t agree more with Aman on this issue. I can’t help but wonder what the French are spending our money on. Are we really expected to believe they are striving to resolve our issues when they can’t resolve their own ?”
A third also echoed: “Ed Gemmel clearly thinks the French will do a fantastic job…just like the aren’t doing now. But prior to Macron visit they were puncturing boats. Now we are back to them letting them go, so Ed the French are taking money for nothing.”
In other news, Dougie Beattie was forced to interrupt GB News as he spoke to Britons attending today’s “Unite the Kingdom” march. Dougie was reporting live on the streets of Waterloo to gauge the atmosphere and spoke to a group of individuals who revealed why they had come to the rally.
One person told the GB News reporter: “Enough is enough. We’re not racist. We’re not against immigration. We’re not against people living in this country and working, but we’re just fed up with what Keir Starmer is doing.”
Another individual shook his head and confessed to Dougie: “I feel ashamed. I feel ashamed to fly the flag, and I’m not proud to be British anymore. We’re losing our identity as a nation. MPs and everyone else are not looking after the people that live here.”
