Moment cop explodes at Sadiq Khan for ‘failing’ grooming gang victims

EXCUSIVE: Retired detective Jon Wedger was appalled by the mayor of London’s reaction to questions about London grooming gangs.

This is the moment Metropolitan Police whistleblower explodes at the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, over his refusal to answer questions about the number of grooming gangs in London.

During a now-infamous exchange with London assembly member Susan Hall, Khan refuses nine times to provide a direct answer when asked how many r**e gangs exist in the capital.

Instead, he continuously asks Hall to “clarify what she means.”

Watching footage of the incident for the first time, former detective Jon Wedger was incensed by Khan’s response.

The ex-cop claims to have uncovered evidence of “child prostitution on an industrial scale” and showed the Express, police notebooks and reports supporting these allegations.

He was joined by other victims of London grooming gangs in calling for the mayor to resign over his repeated failure to even acknowledge the problem.

“This guy is failing society’s most vulnerable,” Wedger said, “he should be removed immediately. This man is a threat to the safety of vulnerable young children of every ethnicity and class.

“He is dangerous and is the donkey that is leading the lions when it comes to child abuse.”

Asked to reflect on what it means that the man who ultimately leads the Metropolitan Police was reacting to questions about grooming gangs in this manner, Wedger replied:

“Anger, absolute anger, he’s lying . How does he know how many grooming gangs there are?

“If you don’t look for them, you ain’t going to find it. It’s like the three monkeys hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil, and the met police is doing that.

“[Sadiq Khan] [is] n’t gonna find it because his officers are not gonna be tasked to look for it.

“You talk to any whistleblower like me, we will all say the same. There’ll be no difference.”
