Lee Anderson has savaged an abusive emailer on X, leaving his followers in stitches. The Reform UK Chief Whip shared the foul-mouthed correspondence, in which he was branded a “fat t***” and a “fat c***”.

The email, sent on June 3 by someone called ‘Steve S’, was short but nevertheless demonstrated poor grammar. The subject of the email was simply “fat t***”, and the content of the email read: “Loose [sic] some weight ya fat c***”. Mr Anderson, reposting on the email on X, gave a withering response.

Dismantling the email with just six words, he said: “Email of the week. Shocking grammar.” The post has since been viewed 81,000 times and has drawn hundreds of comments.

Followers of Mr Anderson lauded him for shutting down the sender of the prickly email. One user replied to the post and said: “Using “ya” instead of “you” it just unacceptable.”

Another chimed in: “They took the effort to email you”, adding in two crying, laughing emojis. A third said: “Got up nice n early to send you that too, that’s nice of him”, referencing the fact the email was sent before 7am.

Mr Anderson has made a habit of publicly taking down those verbally abusing him in recent weeks. On May 13, he mocked former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, after the Islington North MP ripped into Reform MPs during a Commons debate.

Addressing Angela Eagle, the Labour minister for Border Security and Asylum, Mr Anderson asked: “Today over 600 illegal migrants have entered this country. They could get up to all sorts of mischief, commit crimes, and maybe even acts of terrorism.

“So does she agree with me that these young men crossing the Channel should be immediately detained and deported, along with the member for Islington?”

His barb came after Mr Corbyn accused Sir Keir Starmer of using “the language of Enoch Powell” in introducing the immigration white paper, before pointing to Reform’s MPs, including Nigel Farage and Mr Anderson, and saying: “Is it all about trying to please these people who unfortunately sit in front of me?”
