Labour utterly humiliated by straight-talking mum who cut through Keir Starmer’s insanity

Labour’s continued denial of biological fact has been called out by a trailblazing NHS nurse and mum-of-two from the North East.

Hands up if you have not been betrayed by this deceitful and underhanded Government? The list of those cheated by Labour is lengthy, but those with genuine cause to feel most let down are women and, worse still, women toiling at the sharp end in our truth-denying public institutions.

Failed by spineless politicians so hypnotised by political correctness they are unable to explain what a woman is; failed by dogmatic unions so blinded by inclusivity they deliberately wash their hands of those they claim to represent; and failed by their employers who are too scared to state the bleeding obvious, both biological, factual and lawful.

It is perhaps the clearest sign of the insanity in which we now operate as a country under Keir Starmer‘s Labour that Bethany Hutchison, a workaday mum-of-two from Washington in the North East, was forced to take County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust to an employment tribunal for legal recognition of her right to be able to get changed at work without a man present.

That’s right. Not only did she have to fight for her right to be afforded dignity, privacy, and safety at work, she had to go to court to seek clarification that there are indeed only two sexes, because her bosses in the NHS (of all places) were happy to let an attention seeking man pretending to be a woman roam freely in a state of undress in a female changing room.

It defies any logic, yet this is what happened.

The reasons are long and varied, and disturbingly, Bethany is not the only example of this twisted agenda pushed for years by activists and lobbyists whose most vocal cheerleaders can be found on the Labour benches of the Commons.

The reason this madness still continues is in no small part the fault of its MPs and, in particular, cowards like Health Secretary Wes Streeting and Bridget Phillipson, the Minister for Women and Equalities.

They are scared stiff to publish Equality and Human Rights Commission guidance drawn up in the wake of the Supreme Court judgement last year, unequivocally stating that biological sex trumps all, so they have decided to kick it into the long grass.

Ms Phillpson was given the 300-page document on September 4, but has still failed to act – that’s a rate of two pages every day – manageable even for the hard of learning.

Meanwhile, Mr Streeting has promised to get a grip and end this collective stupidity, but, alas, has failed to do so.

Why? This Government is frightened to death of its backbenchers, activists, and lobby groups to whom they are beholden.

So it is left to brave souls like Mrs Hutchison to deliver a dose of common sense, and yesterday she did just that, explaining to the world at a conference in Washington DC how the Labour Government, seduced by radical gender ideology, is too weak to call this nonsense out.

She has put a lot of them to shame by doing their job for them.
