GB News host Alex Armstrong has unleashed his fury at the Labour government for doing “absolutely nothing” about a migrant loophole. He opened up discussions on the migrant crisis on his evening show as he said: “Do they want illegal migrants to flood our country? I’m asking this, because yet another massive exposé on illegal migrants smuggling gangs has revealed a loophole in our system that the government appear to have known about for over a year now.”

He fumed: “[They] have done absolutely nothing to stop it. This loophole almost guarantees an almost 100% success rate on the asylum claim in the UK.” He claimed that smuggling gangs are handing out 25-page playbooks through an app coaching migrants on how to pose themselves when arriving in the UK.

Alex explained that The Home Office’s 2024 country policy and information noted that a Bidoon recognises people as stateless Arab minorities. He added: “It distinguishes between documented and undocumented Bidoons. Applicants must demonstrate that they genuinely lack Kuwaiti nationality, hold no official documentation and face systematic denial of basic human rights, discrimination, and threats of serious harm.”

An investigation published in The Telegraph by Camilla Tominey discovered that many people claiming to be Bidoons are actually not, with Alex adding that the claims have doubled since 2021 and there is an average 92% success rate.

He fumed: “Many, and I will be bold enough to say this, could be stateless fakers and our government is lapping it all up.”

Alex claimed the Home Office has “known for over a year” after allegedly being warned that people were sharing false birth certificates. A statement shared on screen from the Home Office said: “The investigation, which had involved the Jordanian and Kuwaiti authorities and the US embassy in Amman had cast serious doubt on whether the applicants were in fact Kuwaiti Bidoons and these doubts, which had extended to some sponsors who had been granted asylum in the UK on that basis, were eventually confirmed.”

He fumed: “And what do we think the government did to close that loophole? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. That same playbook is still circulating and those numbers are still surging.” Alex continued: “It’s not rocket science, it’s just in my opinion gross negligence.”
