GB News star Dawn Neesom argued that solving the migrant crisis is an “almost impossible task” for new Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood
Keir Starmer was brutally slammed on GB News this morning by guest Dawn Neesom as the panel discussed the new Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood. Dawn criticised the Prime Minister, arguing that solving the migrant crisis is an “almost impossible task” for Mahmood due to Keir Starmer. Shabana has been immediately hit with a crisis after just 48 hours in her new role, with the number of Channel crossings this year passing 30,000 in a new record time.
Mahmood has also taken over from Yvette Cooper, whom Dawn described as “rubbish” when it came to her accomplishments as Home Secretary. Dawn said: “I just think it’s an almost impossible task. She can talk tough all she wants. Her [Shabana] hands are tied! Mostly by her boss, Keir Starmer.”
It comes after Sir Keir Starmer‘s right-hand woman, Angela Rayner, admitted that she had not paid enough stamp duty on a house she bought in Hove, East Sussex, earlier this year.
Rayner resigned on Friday last week, sparking a major cabinet reshuffle, and saw Shabana take over from Yvette Cooper as Home Secretary. However, Rachel Reeves has stayed in her role as Chancellor.
Shabana, who is labelled a “blue Labour” social conservative, will take control of the police, MI5, and the government’s domestic policy.
Last month, the new Home Secretary announced that foreign criminals will be deported after they are sentenced to free up prison space and protect members of the public.
