Keir Starmer’s handling of the migrant crisis was heavily criticised by Independent MP Rupert Lowe
MP Rupert Lowe has heavily criticised Keir Starmer‘s government over their migration policy, claiming they have “lost sight of the truth.” Speaking to Kevin O’Sullivan on TalkTV, as they discussed recent criminal cases involving migrants he said: “The government is not competent at filtering who will contribute to society. We can all feel the country that used to function unbelievably well slipping through our fingers.”
Claiming the country is run by “woke secretaries”. He said: “There’s a very what I call malign attitude towards this, and I think we’ve played our part, both in exposing the extent of it in terms of how common is amongst a lot of the people who come into the country. But equally, I think we’re putting pressure on the government to start collecting more data, which they haven’t been doing. In Parliament, I think I played my part, without being in any way big headed, in terms of my speech in January about the Pakistan England rape gangs, which brought tears to one Labour MP’s eyes.

“But the fact is, it’s the truth, and in Parliament, one should be able to speak the truth after all if you can’t speak the truth in Parliament, where can you speak the truth?
“And that’s the problem. I think Parliament has lost sight of the truth. It’s been hollowed out,” Lowe said.
“It’s no longer what it should be under the British Constitution, and we are run by a bunch of woke permanent secretaries who are not elected.
“(They) don’t necessarily share the same view of Britain as the majority of I call decent, sensible tax paying honest middle England.”
