Good Morning Britain viewers were furious as they felt something was missing from the programme’s line-up. Ahead of GMB airing on Tuesday (April 8), it was announced on X what viewers could expect from the upcoming show. Hosted by Ed Balls and Ranvir Singh, the duo prepared to update fans on the impact of Donald Trump‘s recent tariffs and the story of baby Amy Davidson, who has made history after becoming the first child in Britain to be born from a transplanted womb.

They also revealed that British naturalist and explorer Steve Backshall would be joining the presenters in the studio. Flocking to the comments of the social media announcement, viewers questioned why the suspension of Labour MP Dan Norris, who was arrested on suspicion of sexual offences, was not being covered.

One fumed: “No mention of councillor & streetings aide-Sam Gould guilty plea of accusations of exposing himself to a 13 yr old girl? Nor Metro Labour Mayor Dan Norris MP, who’d been accused of harassment & bullying by senior staff before GE selection & now rape & child sexual accusations?!”

Another furious viewer wrote: “Still no news on the monsters from the Liebour party committing horrendous, sick crimes against innocent CHILDREN?Why do people seem to think this kind of sick behaviour is acceptable? It’s everywhere. Maybe shows like this could be doing something to protect children?”

A third shared an image of Keir Starmer wearing a photoshopped T-shirt with Norris’s name on it, accompanied by the caption: “Anything on this?”

A fourth added: “Boris Johnson was ultimately brought down because of “what he knew” about Chris Pincher. It’s now alleged he ignored repeated calls to investigate Dan Norris. So why does the same not apply to Keir Starmer? And why is the majority of the media completely ignoring it?”

Express.co.uk has contacted ITV for comment.

Norris, 65, was suspended by the Labour Party after he was arrested on suspicion of rape and child sex offences. The politician was taken into custody after police raided his constituency home on Friday (April 4).

The MP for North East Somerset and Hanham, who previously worked as a teacher and an NSPCC-trained child protection officer, also lost the party whip in the House of Commons.

Norris has also been accused of bullying and harassment by staff at a local authority, relating to his role as Mayor of the West of England.
