Good Morning Britain viewers were left furious as the show aired an update on Keir Starmer‘s statement on activist Alaa Abd El-Fattah. The Prime Minister is under pressure to revoke the citizenship of the British Dissident, who posted tweets calling for violence towards the police and Zionists. Starmer had initially shared his delight that Alaa Abd El-Fattah, who has returned to the UK from Egypt, had reunited with his family.
The government has now condemned the “abhorrent” pos after El-Fattah insisted they “had been twisted”, as ITV reporter Nick Dixon read out Starmer’s apology in full live on GMB. He added: “Opposition MPs have been very critical of the Prime Minister, in this case, the Conservatives and Reform as well. Kemi Badenoch has written quite extensively in one of the newspapers this morning, calling on ministers to look at removing al Fatah from the UK, and in addition, the Jewish leadership council as well has voiced concern, saying that we are concerned by the effusive welcome that this man has received from the UK.

“And it does feel that this mess really perhaps could have been avoided with a little bit of careful research into this individual’s social media.
As Dixon reported on the latest updates, furious viewers rushed to social media to hit out at Starmer.
One said: “Starmer’s position is untenable – he has lost what little respect he had. He must be replaced with immediate effect.”
Another raged: “We are meant to just accept some half-a**ed ‘apology’ that the Govt has clearly told him to post! NO! Lucy Connolly apologised and took her post down not long after she posted it, and her apology was not accepted by the Left, who continue to hound her! Get this British and Jew hating person out of our country.”
A third chimed in: “It’s only Monday morning n our useless Labour government have already made themselves look like right plonkers and bought embarrassment to our shores what will tomorrow bring or will we have to wait that long probs not knowing this lot.”
A fourth said: “There are no limits as to how low Keir and his government will stoop. Everytime you think they have gone as low as they can, they exceed themselves even more. Abhorrent the lot of them.”
But one fan insisted: “Non-story, no one is talking about it!”
