Furious GB News migrant row explodes on air as star rages ‘we are full!’

GB News hosted an explosive debate as commentator Dr Renee Hoenderkamp and Labour Councillor Sebastian Salek clashed over immigration.

GB News hosted an intense debate related to immigration which ultimately saw commentator Dr Renee Hoenderkamp and Labour Councillor Sebastian Salek clash. The pair joined the hosts in discussing immigration in the UK, but after Dr Renee accused Sebastian of being condescending, things erupted into chaos.

Sebastian had told her that they should be celebrating immigration, prompting her to say: “How condescending of you to say that we should be celebrating, I don’t want anyone coming in, we are full.”

Immediately quizzing her, he said: “Sorry you don’t want anybody coming into Britain? Nobody?” Fuming that we should “sort out our own infrastructure”, Sebastian interjected and said: “Do you have any idea what would happen to this country if we froze immigration tomorrow?”

Reaching boiling point, she raged: “Yes, people would be pleased!” Sebastian asked multiple times what would happen to the economy.

Sebastian was then told that fewer than 25% of the visas granted are worker visas, with the host adding: “You could easily cut out 75% of immigration with absolutely no economic consequences.”

He added that he believes freezing would be extreme, claiming that it has come down drastically which sparked yet another uproar between himself and Dr Renee, who fumed that it wasn’t coming down.

The pair then battled to talk over one another, with nobody being able to get their words out coherently.

There has been uproar over the debate around immigration, particularly over the last week.

On Wednesday night, Nigel Farage fumed at Former Attorney General Sir Michael Ellis over the “nonsense” row regarding the High Court ruling on deportation flights.

Keir Starmer had announced plans for migrants arriving via small boats to be “detained and returned to France“, adding that in exchange for every return, a different person who has been allowed to come via a safe route would be welcomed.

But after a 25-year-old won a last minute claim to temporarily block his removal to France, further backlash has erupted over the legalities and rules for immigration plans.
