An intense row erupted over grooming gangs on GB News as Express columnist Esther McVey blasted a guest’s ‘far-right’ claim.
A fiery row erupted on GB News over Labour’s handling of grooming gangs. Express columnist Esther McVey and political commentator Nina Myskow clashed heads, with McVey blasting the guest’s “far-right” claim. During the show, Myskow claimed “the much maligned Keir Starmer” had commissioned Baroness Casey’s review into group-based child sexual exploitation. She also said “the Tories did sod all for 14 years about the grooming gangs or nationality breakdown.” This sparked a row as McVey called Myskow’s claims “rubbish”, and fiercely defended her party’s record.
The Tory MP stated, “Rishi Sunak brought in the task force which protected 4,000 young girls and actually arrested and prosecuted over 800 men.” Nina then shot back, “You did nothing, nothing, nothing.” The debate then moved onto integration issues, as Nina argued, “You get pockets of races with their own culture and habits. It’s completely wrong.”

Meanwhile, GB News host Patrick Christys interrupted, “We’ve imported a lot of people who think young white girls are at the bottom of the chain.”
Esther then referred to Tim Montgomerie who raised the issue of rape gangs, and claimed the Labour Party had dismissed it as a “dog whistle” tactic.
Focusing on gender dynamics, Nina then argued, “This is a male crime, not female. These females were let down as they were referred to as ‘little sl**gs’ by police. It’s wrong.”
Patrick then questioned why feminists remained silent on the problem, saying: “I think for them, they keep quiet because being pro-multiculturalism is seen as better.”

Esther agreed and claimed that “for a long period of time, these left-wing, liberal elite did not want to talk about this.” She added, “People who wanted to talk about this were called far-right and racist.”
Nina said, “And many of them are,” which prompted Esther to respond, “That’s exactly why people are saying this; you’ve let yourself down.”
Nina retorted, “They are, though, many of them are far-right. Keir Starmer was talking about politicians when he referred to a far-right bandwagon.” Commentator Mark Littlewood called the claim “outrageous.” She then firmly defended Keir Starmer, saying, “He instantly took up what Casey said.”
