JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Greene County sheriff’s deputies, with the assistance of Jonesboro police and U.S. Marshals, arrested a man Friday suspected of raping a child.
Glen Michael Ray, 46, of Jonesboro, is being held in the Craighead County Detention Center after Second Judicial Circuit Judge Scott Ellington found probable cause to arrest him on suspicion of rape and offensive relations with a child.

On Aug. 19, the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline received a referral regarding a child under the age of 14 who had been sexually abused by a family friend.
During a forensic interview with a Crimes Against Children Division agent, the child stated the abuse began in February 2024 and continued for several months.
“The minor disclosed sex acts including oral and anal penetration and kissing on the mouth,” Capt. Rhonda Thomas with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to court documents, the parents said Ray had unsupervised access to the minor and that the child disclosed the alleged abuse after they moved out of Craighead County.
