Reform UK leader Nigel Farage is offering under 25s cut-price membership as he attempts to lead “the largest political movement in the country” into government.

The head of the insurgent pop up party has issued a rallying cry to prospective members, begging them to join his tribe for £25 a year or £10 a year for under 25s, saying: “We can’t do this without you.”

It comes as a bombshell new poll puts Farage, 61, formerly the leader of UKIP and the Brexit Party, on course for Downing Street having spent 30 years in the political wilderness until the seismic EU referendum in 2016.

Reform UK now has 236,000 fully paid up members.

Mr Farage said: “The momentum of Reform UK continues.I have been attacked by almost everyone in British politics from [PM Sir Keir] Starmer and [Tory leader Kemi] Badenoch to [Scotland’s first minister John] Swinney and [MSP Anas] Sarwar. It’s a sign we are doing rather well.

“New analysis by Electoral Calculus puts Reform on a whopping 30.4% of the vote. That would be enough to give us a 74 seat majority in the House of Commons and restore our country to greatness. This unpopular Labour government would be reduced from 412 seats to just 136.”

The bombshell poll means Mr Farage, first elected to the European Parliament in 1999 and re-elected in 2004, 2009 and 2014, could become the prime minister with an outright majority.

It comes after panicked PM Sir Keir’s attempts to attack the Reform UK leader sensationally backfired. After his disastrous hit job the parliament seat prediction site calculated Mr Farage would win 362 seats if a general election was held tomorrow.

Meanwhile, support for Labour would crash through the floor from winning 412 seats at the last general election to second place on 136, while the Tories Conservatives would effectively be wiped out with just 22 seats.

Mr Farage said: “To make this a reality at the next general election, we must grow to become the largest political movement in the country.

“So I ask you to come and join 236,000 members of Reform UK and play your part in our amazing movement. We can’t do this without you.

“To upset the odds we must print leaflets, reach our voters with direct mail and target social media ads to help us engage young voters. Reform is going to come in and we are going to fix broken Britain.”
