Reform UK is on course to win two key mayoral elections next week, new polling shows. The YouGov research puts Nigel Farage’s party in first place in Greater Lincolnshire, where Dame Andrea Jenkyns is standing.
Reform candidate Luke Hall is also predicted to win in Hull and East Yorkshire. It comes as voters across England will elect four regional mayors in the local elections on May 1.

The poll puts former Tory minister Dame Andrea on 40% in the inaugural Greater Lincolnshire mayoral race.
Tory candidate Rob Waltham is second with 25%, while Labour’s Jason Stockwood is third on 15% in the survey of 1,218 people.
Meanwhile, former professional boxer Mr Campbell is on 35% in the contest for the newly-created mayor of Hull and East Riding.
His nearest rival is Lib Dem candidate Mike Ross who is second with 21%.
Labour’s Margaret Pinder is third with 20% and Tory candidate Anne Handley is fourth with 15% in the survey of 940 people.

The polling suggests the West of England mayoral ballot will be close between the Greens and Labour.

Green candidate Mary Page is first with 27%, while Labour’s Helen Godwin is second on 23%.
Reform UK’s Arron Banks comes third with 18%, while the Conservatives’ Steve Smith takes 17% in the poll of 1,185 people.
Ex-Tory MP Paul Bristow is tipped to win the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough mayoralty for his party with 32% in the survey of 1,165 people.
Reform candidate Ryan Coogan is second with 20%, while Labour’s Anna Smith takes 19% and Lib Dem Lorna Dupre is fourth on 18%.
YouGov carried out the polling from April 9 to 23.
