Rumours of a reconciliation between Prince Harry and the Royal Family continue to grow despite the Duke of Sussex having quit royal duties in 2020 and moving to Montecito, California, with his wife Meghan Markle, to grow his young family.

While his father, King Charles and older brother, Prince William could be considering the idea of reconcilliation, an insider claims one royal is still resistant to forgiveness – Queen Camilla.

Harry released a bombshell memoir in January 2023, writing claims bout Camilla, and comparing her to a “wicked stepmother”, accusing her of having an agenda to work on her public image.

Speaking to Closer Magazine, the insider said: “Not everyone is keen on that idea, but Camilla is opposed to Harry making any sort of return, even for a friendly visit. She doesn’t want to come face to face with him, let alone show him any kind of forgiveness or mercy.”

The insider added she thinks he is a “wolf in sheep’s clothing”, insisting he brings “stress and drama” to situations.

They added: “It’s her belief that any interaction King Charles has with him is only going to be bad for his health and for the family as a whole. If Harry does get the invite back to the UK, he’d be wise to stay far away from Camilla.”

Princess Kate praised for modern social media approach

Princess Kate has been praised for her modern approach to social media.

The 42-year-old often shares heartfelt statements on the official Prince and Princess of Wales pages, which one expert said has started to make official Palace statements look “stuffy”.

Jennie Bond exclusively told OK!: “This is such an effective and modern way of using her influence and staying in touch, even when she is not making personal appearances.

“Official statements from the Palace now seem quite stuffy and extremely formal by comparison.

“Social media can be a source of awful abuse, but Catherine and William are showing that it can be used to spread goodwill and kindness.”

Royal who inspired Prince Harry’s decision to buy holiday home

According to reports, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have recently brought a holiday home in Portugal, just a few hours away from the UK.

Pauline MacLaran, a professor and author of ‘Royal Fever: The British Monarchy in Consumer Culture’, believes Princess Eugenie having a home in Portugal would have swayed the couple’s decision to buy the new abode.

She said: “I would think this will have greatly influenced their purchase and will provide them with a familiar friendship circle for their stays there, as well as a chance for their children to get to know their second cousins.”

Late Queen was like ‘Taylor Swift’ in Australia

The late Queen was like “Taylor Swift” during royal tours in Australia, a previous member of her staff has said.

During this visit, the then-monarch visited Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth and was reportedly met with huge crowds wherever she went.

Ms Anderson said on the show: “I remember the crowds, the big Aussie barbeque in Perth, which was the last big event. It felt like the Queen was Taylor Swift.”

Meghan Markle‘s journal could be turned into a memoir in years to come.

BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond suggested that it means Meghan’s option of an expose book is “in her back pocket.”

She said: “Obviously, the journal she mentioned will remain a potential weapon in her back pocket if she ever feels the need to seek some sort of revenge. But she has behaved with discretion and dignity ever since Oprah and the documentary series.”

Princess Kate answers schoolchildren’s questions

When paying a visit to Burghead Primary School in Moray, Scotland, last year, Catherine was seen telling pupils how much she liked the school.

The Princess of Wales gave out a high-five to one student and then went to speak to some of the other children. One of them innocently asked her who she was to which she humbly replied: “I’m married to William,” while pointing at the Prince of Wales.

Princess Kate asked to change name by King, Harry claims

In his memoir Spare, Prince Harry claimed that Princess Kate, 42, had been asked to change the spelling of her first name by the King.

Harry said the King and Queen wanted Kate to spell her real name Catherine with a K instead of a C as there were already two royal cyphers with the letter C in them.

This change was reportedly refused by Kate.

Harry and Meghan face new humiliation

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “below Prince Andrew” on the official royal website bringing a new bout of humiliation for the couple – who find themselves right at the bottom of the pecking order.

On the page which shows the “role of the Royal Family”, King Charles and Queen Camilla evidently take the top spot – closely followed by the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The couple are below Prince Andrew on the list. They quit life as senior members of the Royal Family in 2020.

The royal tour where ‘rot’ set in for Harry and Meghan, claims expert

Royal expert Ingrid Seward said that Harry and Meghan’s Australian royal tour in 2018 was when cracks began to appear for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as part of the Royal Family.

Speaking to The Sun, Ms Seward said: “I think it was a bit of a shock [that] she was being told what to do, she was being told where to go and she was being told how to do it. She was taking a starring role in the actual size of the monarchy, she was just a little pinpoint.

“At that moment in Australia she was a starring role, but she wasn’t really, she was just a cog in the wheel.

“I think it was an eye opener for her that she was always going to be a cog in the wheel because she was married to number two man [and] not the number one man, which would have been [Prince] William.

“I agree with the royal commentators, that was definitely when the rot began to fester a little bit.”

Princess Charlotte could take on important royal role

Princess Charlotte could become the “next Princess Anne” after Prince William takes on the role of monarch, it has been reported.

When The Prince of Wales, 42, becomes King, it is believed Charlotte, 9, could take on Princess Anne’s current title of Princess Royal.

The title is typically bestowed to the monarch’s eldest daughter. This means as William’s only daughter, she could likely take the title. Thus it is not likely it would get passed down to Princess Anne’s own daughter, Zara Tindall.

Despite this, it’s not a guarantee that Charlotte will take on the title as it is typically awarded rather than inherited. Princess Anne, 74, was given the title by Queen Elizabeth II in 1987 when she was 36-years-old.

While he has many fond memories, including dancing with the late Queen at Balmoral, the ex-butler shared one memory he has that not many will know about.

He told Express.co.uk: “She always used to do things that were fun and unexpected. I remember once racing down a corridor with her.

“The guests weren’t in the room in time so we arrived at the corridor and obviously the guests should have been in the room first and they weren’t so I ran down the corridor with her.

“The King and Queen Camilla also have a great sense of humour but with the Queen it was unexpected.”

Key similarity between Princess Kate and Meghan Markle

Although there lives are very different, Princess Kate and Meghan Markle have one key similarity that bonds them together.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told The Sun: “Catherine and Meghan are indeed two very different women and are now on very different paths.

“Everything Catherine does is to help others, the disadvantaged, the young, and now those suffering from cancer.

“It’s not for money, or fame or self-aggrandisement. It is to help people who are in trouble or difficulty and to do good. I believe Meghan is also using her star power to bring attention to certain causes and people who need help.”

Meghan Markle torn apart by ex-Vanity Fair editor with scathing four-word dig

Meghan Markle has been issued a scathing four-word remark by the former editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair, who slammed the Duchess for her poor judgement.

Tina Brown accused Meghan for “getting it all wrong” after previously calling her and Prince Harry‘s exit from the Royal Family a “disaster” and accusing them of being “addicted to drama”.

The one royal who ‘greatly influenced’ Harry and Meghan’s decision to buy Portugal home

A royal author has shed light on the one Royal Family member who might have “greatly influenced” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s decision to purchase a holiday home in Portugal.

It is reported the home is in a resort located just an hour’s drive south of Lisbon on Portugal’s west coast, between Comporta and Melides, which has become a popular holiday destination for the rich, thanks to it being relatively untouched by tourism.

The Sussexes’ purchase of the property was said to have been prompted by Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, who also own a home in Melides, just south of Lisbon.Pauline MacLaran, a professor and author of ‘Royal Fever: The British Monarchy in Consumer Culture’, believes Princess Eugenie also having a home in Portugal would have swayed the couple’s decision to buy.

Charles proves he’s the barbecue king with brilliant egg timer gag and ‘smashed avo’ quip

The King and Queen arrived at Parramatta Park in scorching sunshine and were welcomed by a Smoking Ceremony and a Didgeridoo player.

Charles and Camilla reunited after conducting separate engagements this morning, with the King being introduced to the Premier of NSW, Chris Minns and his wife Anna, while the Queen was introduced to the deputy Premier of NSW, Prudence Car and her husband Brad Hulls.

Moving towards to smoking ceremony, Their Majesties took it in turns to waft the smoke over themselves, a tradition that is meant to be good luck and clear away bad spirits.

14 countries that have abandoned the monarchy for republicanism

King Charles was heckled at an appearance in Australia’s senate yesterday by a pro-republic MP.

Australian senator Lidia Thrope heckled the King shouting: “This is not your land, this is not your land, you are not my King, you are not our King.”

The incident has raised the issue of how long the monarch might remain as the Head of State of countries across the globe in the modern age.

Andrew Walkling, Professor at Binghamton University in New York believes that it is inevitable that King Charles will be the last British monarch in some of the overseas realms, with the idea of having a British monarch leading countries overseas increasingly being perceived by many as a “relic of a past notion”.

Royal tour outrage as Queen Victoria statue attacked with red paint before King arrives

A famous statue of Queen Victoria in Sydney’s city centre has been vandalised with red paint, just hours before King Charles and Queen Camilla were due to tour the city.

The Royal couple are scheduled to meet the public outside the Sydney Opera House, not far from the defaced statue.

Police have cordoned off the area around the statue, located outside the Queen Victoria Building in the central business district, following the incident.

This comes just a day after a verbal attack on the King and Queen by Aboriginal Australian Senator Lidia Thorpe at Parliament House in Canberra.

Prince Harry’s royal return claims torn apart as reconciliation is ‘awfully long way off’

Prince Harry will not reconcile with the Royal Family anytime soon despite his latest purchase of a holiday home in Europe that is close to one of his royal relatives, a royal commentator has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have bought themselves a new holiday home in the same area where Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank also own a property.

Harry’s latest move prompted several royal watchers to question whether it could provide a potential path for a reconciliation between the duke and his estranged family. The Princess of York is known to have a close bond with Harry as well as the rest of the royals.
