Ranvir Singh and Kate Garraway were presenting ITV’s Good Morning Britain.

Fans of Good Morning Britain were left fuming on Friday morning. The presenting panel had a bit of a change-up with Ranvir Singh sitting along Kate Garraway to host the breakfast TV show, but one topic of discussion sparked “bias” complaints from fans.
The women spoke about politician Robert Jenrick becoming a Reform UK MP after being sacked by Tory leader Kemi Badenoch. Just hours after his dismissal, he appeared on stage with Reform leader Nigel Farage, despite him very publicly attacking Reform and its leader in the past. Ranvir explained: “Whilst that’s happened, a recording of him has emerged, dismissing his new party leader, Farage, as, and I quote, ‘a man who couldn’t run a five-a-side team’. There’s some explaining to do there.” Kate then added another contradiction on Jenrick’s part. She said: “Then, at an event to announce his defection, he declared ‘I want Nigel to be Prime Minister’.

“But in that leaked audio from 2025, he says that Reform UK isn’t a serious party and Nigel Farage isn’t going to be able to run a party.” She then went on to ask if it was an “embarrassing stunt” from Mr Jenrick.
To back up their points, the ITV breakfast show then played the audio of Mr Jenrick’s comments criticising Mr Farage, followed by a clip of him previously appearing on GMB to bash the party leader some more.
However, fans at home branded the presenters and the ITV show as “biased”, as some even threatened to “switch off”.
Posting to X/Twitter, one viewer fumed: “@GMB Don’t like GMB anymore. Can’t watch it anymore.”
Someone else complained: “@GMB @SwainITV I thought this program couldn’t get more biased against Reform but I was wrong. Ranvir is presenting.”
“@GMB Lefties on GMB, they’re sense of panic in showing old clips that they had both owned up to anyway with the press conference last night. Their bias never ceases to amaze me,” one more added.
Another person angrily penned: “@GMB why can’t the presenters be more objective? Ranvir is so anti-reform. I get the Labour and conservative ‘pundits’ views but at least Kate is objective.”
