Patrick Christys opened up the discussion on the migrant crisis on GB News after anti-migrant activists went to France to stop small boats. He announced the GB News exclusive stating that anti-migrant activists who were travelling to the country were now facing arrest. Christys said: “They include those from the Raise the Colours movement which is coming out as what they describe as ‘civillian border control’ or ‘operation stop the boats’.”
He explained that videos have shown them running into the sea and slashing small boats. He said: “Obviously what they’re trying to do is stop those boats being used to import illegal migrants into Britain. They now face arrest in France.” It was said that senior French politicians are “furious” about the situation. It has reportedly been demanded that the people going over to slash the boats are identified and arrested.
Christys then welcomed Henry Bolton, the international security and border control expert, as he said: “I’m obviously not encouraging anyone to do anything that breaks the law or anything, but should the French not be asking for a bit more help here stopping the boats? It seems to be there’s some people who are offering to do it for free.”
Bolton said: “If a French person came to the United Kingdom and broke the law, you would expect the British police to arrest them, they don’t get a get out of jail free card.” So he justified that if they break the law, they open themselves up to be arrested.
However, he did issue a warning to the government.

He said: “Without justifying anyone breaking the law, it is time, particularly the British government, woke up. For years, the British people have voted in elections they have in every way conceivable without absolute violence, they have made it known that they are sick and tired of this problem.”
Bolton raged that “nothing has been done”, he added: “The successive governments have evaded that problem. What we’re seeing now is a form of vigilantism which is born of extreme frustration.”
Christys confessed he’s “amazed” it’s not happened before after a 13% increase of illegal migrants crossing into the UK. He added: “Again, not condoning it, but I am amazed that it’s not happened before.”
