Lotti O’Brien says the £500 given to a migrant sex offender is a symbol of the lack of control Labour has over Britain and its borders.

I’m at a loss for words – the shame and embarrassment I feel for Britain right now has reached a new high. We are an absolute laughing stock. A prison “mistakenly” released a migrant sex offender, Hadush Kebatu, back onto the streets, who then persuaded the pathetically weak Home Office to give him a £500 payout.
If the UK can’t deport a foreign national convicted of sexual offences without being extorted for hush money, then it’s no longer being run by the Government – it’s being run by sex-offending criminals who refuse to leave unless paid. There is a 14-year-old child and a woman already suffering the horrific, lifelong consequences of assault. Where is their money? Where is the £500 that should have gone to the victims who endured a life-changing crime?

Instead, that £500 was handed to their abuser to stop him throwing a tantrum before boarding a plane.
