The new Green Party leader Zack Polanski is continuing to make headway in the polls.
A bombshell new election poll has put the Green Party in second place, ahead of Labour and the Tories, for the first ever time. Reform maintains their strong first place lead in Find Out Now’s latest survey of voters’ intentions, but it’s the Greens who will be happiest this evening.
The poll sees the hard-left party up 2 points to 17%, leapfrogging both Keir Starmer and Kemi Badenoch. The Tories are down one point to 16%, while Labour is steady on the same level of support. The LibDems are also flat compared to last week on 12%.

Election Maps UK projected that, if seen at an election, this poll would result in a Reform landslide of 130 seats over all the other parties.
Because of Britain’s First Past the Post electoral system, the split opposition would result in some bizarre results.
The LibDems would be the official opposition, on 72 seats, with Labour left with just 51 and only just ahead of the SNP on 43.
The Greens, despite winning the second largest number of votes, would win just 41 seats, though still enjoy twice as many as the Tories’ six.

Reacting to the poll, Green Party leader Zack Polanski said: “We’re just getting started. Time to lower bills. And tax billionaires.
“If you want to see the Green Party take on Reform – this is the moment.”
He also warned that Labour needs to step aside in certain seats to let the Greens take on Reform UK, or bring in proportional representation.
