Horror moment matador gored through leg by bull – leaving him with 30cm deep wound
A seasoned matador’s comeback took a harrowing turn as he was left with gruesome injuries in Madrid.

A bull fighter has suffered frightful injuries after his leg was imapled during his first fight of 2025. Serafin Marin, 42, suffered a 30cm cut into the limb on Sunday, September 21, in Madrid after being gored.
A member of the audience provided footage of the show, showcasing Marin completing the veronica pass — which includes the Matador de torres (bull fighter) waving his cape from side to side. A dark twist of event led to Marin being thrown into the air by the horns of the angered bull. Falling to the ground, four additional matadors entered the ring in a combined effort to distract the bull.
