A teenage girl allegedly fell victim to a horror sex attack while travelling by bus to Birmingham Airport. The youngster was en-route to the airport from Birmingham city centre when the attack is said to have taken place, in June of this year. Police said she was sexually assaulted during the journey and have released a public appeal to help them track down a man who could have information about the incident.
The force said they had followed multiple lines of enquiry and reviewed CCTV footage but had not yet successfully identified him. The grainy CCTV images released alongside the appeal appear to show a middle-aged man with a faint beard and dark hair, wearing a puffer jacket and cap.
West Midlands Police said a manhunt is still underway for the alleged perpetrator and urged members of the public to come forward with anything they think could help the investigation.
The force has not released any further information about the nature of the attack.
