During Saturday morning’s broadcast of GB News, Nana Akua and her colleagues discussed the Home Office’s Victory after the courts ruled that migrants can be housed in a hotel in Epping following weeks of protests and discord.
Akua began: “You know what, on that bombshell, do you not think the Labour Party is… Well, you know, they spent 14 years as the opposition, do you not think they could have had some sort of plans as to how they would deal with the situation? It sounds like they were out there having a jolly for 14 years.”
Her co-star, former Labour Adviser Matthew Torbitt, clapped back: “I don’t think it was a jolly – I think it was miserable times.” However, Akua wasn’t having any of it and continued to blast Sir Keir Starmer‘s party.

As she continued to make her points on the news programme, she insisted her colleague Patrick Christys has “done more” than any Border Force command control.
Torbitt retorted: “There was always a plan to win the election; there was never a plan to govern.” Akua started laughing while he was making his points on the show before she cut him off and branded the party “useless”.
Akua then issued a scathing four-word statement about Labour, telling viewers: “Oh God, they are all awful. David Lammy, Ed Miliband, who else have we got? Yvette Cooper… They haven’t got a clue.”
The debate came following a court overturning an injunction for migrants to leave the Bell Hotel in Epping after the Home Office intervened.
It means the building can continue to house the 138 asylum seekers living there.
Richard Brace, 60, who has lived in the Essex town all his life, took to the streets in protest of the ruling. “We’ll keep protesting,” he told the Express.
