Keir Starmer torn apart with just six words on TalkTV over ‘humiliating’ Trump visit

TalkTV host Kevin O’Sullivan took aim at Sir Keir Starmer as part of a lengthy rant about the politician and Donald Trump

The TalkTV host tore into “squirming” Sir Keir Starmer on the latest instalment of his programme following the Prime Minister’s recent meetings with US President Donald Trump, who flew over to the UK to discuss politics and golf courses. Presenter Kevin O’Sullivan began: “Do you know what I think about Trump? I was thinking about this the other day. And I don’t say this in a pejorative way because I love America and I love Americans. But he’s very, very American. Very brash, no idea about decorum.

“So he comes to someone else’s country and then lectures them about what is wrong with it.” O’Sullivan: “But what is brilliant about it, folks, about his lectures is he did it five days straight. He never stopped.

“He’s telling Starmer there, ‘You know, you’ve got to do something about migration and you’ve got to get your act together.’

“He’s telling us to stop our net zero insanity, he’s telling us to do something about crime, and so on and so forth. Stop the windmills, start drilling. And all of us in Britain, this is what we would love, to stand there and shout in that idiot Starmer’s face.

“And while Starmer was receiving this advice, these instructions, from Donald Trump, he was squirming. I mean, really squirming. It was excruciating, humiliating for Starmer and magnificent for us.”

During one press conference during Trump’s Scotland visit, the world leader said he could not stand London’s Mayor, Sadiq Khan, and labeled him “a nasty person” while he was sitting next to Starmer.

In the same interview, held in Scotland, Trump stated: “I’m not a fan of your mayor. I think he’s done a terrible job, the Mayor of London… a nasty person.”

In a bid to defend Khan, the Prime Minister intervened to say: “He’s a friend of mine, actually.”
