GB News viewers took to social media to blast broadcaster Eamonn Holmes during his breakfast programme, during which he shared a story from the early days of his career. The 65-year-old, who was fronting the show alongside Miriam Cates, was also joined by guests Clare Muldoon and Cristo Foufas as they discussed the latest headlines.
Reading from a newspaper, Cristo revealed: “A survey has come out that says about more than half of workers admit they have cried at work at least once.” This comes after Chancellor Rachel Reeves could be seen crying at the House of Commons during a live airing of Prime minister Questions . Eamonn then prompted “a quick poll in the room,” to see who has cried at work before opening up about his story from when he was 22 years old. However, viewers were quickly left unimpressed as one penned: “GB News, get that rubbish off.”

Another added: “Yet another one of Eamonn’s monologues. Who cares, just get on with the news, man.”
A third viewer fumed: “Eamonn. You were not the chancellor and on PMQs so you can’t compare your experience with Reeves, she’s feeling the pressure from her failures so no sympathy at all for her.”
