A patriotic man whose neighbour complained about his Union Jack flag has taken hilarious revenge by flying an even bigger flag. Colin, a proud Brit, decided to raise the Union Jack flag in celebration of his love for his country before taking it down after a neighbour complained to the council.
When asked why the person complained, Colin said, “It’s what people do these days; they complain about everything.” However, the Brit, who has amassed an almost 15k following on TikTok, has not let this get him down. Taking revenge, Colin has brought an “even bigger” Union Jack flag, which will fly high in his garden.

In the viral video, which has been watched over a million times, Colin is hilariously filmed hoisting the large flag into place.
In the background a woman called Dawn is heard saying it’s “gonna be too big Col. Oh my god”.
Colin said: “Well I took this flag down because someone didn’t like it. So I’ve only brought a bigger one, look.”
Issuing a hilarious warning Colin said if anyone complains again he’ll just trade this flag for an ever bigger one.
He said: “So if they complain again you know what I’m gonna do. I’ll get an even bigger one.”
The video has prompted a wave of support for both Colin and the Union Jack flag from users.
One commenter said: “Hoist that beautiful flag high. I salute the flag and you sir.”
Another added: “You should be allowed to fly this country’s flag, good on you mate.”
“I’m going to complain that the flag pole isn’t tall enough, you need to get a taller flagpole for the bigger union jack flag, so people further away can see it and appreciate it”, added a third.
Users also jokingly pointed out that Colin’s flag was upside down.
“Great but it’s upside down, wide white stipe should be on top against the flag pole”, said a user.
