After years of neglect, a bunker from World War II was discovered thanks to a metal detector and the persistence of a group of history enthusiasts. Deep in a dense forest, this bunker was once a military base or defense for soldiers during the war.
Initially, the metal detector emitted a strong signal when we approached the suspected area. After digging deep into the soil and clearing away the trees, an old concrete entrance was revealed. The iron door was corroded by time, but after a little effort, we were able to open it and step inside.
The space inside was dark and damp but still retained many vestiges of the war. We found rusty shell casings, ammunition boxes, some personal items such as water cans, medicine boxes and even a few old military maps. It seemed that this place was used by soldiers as a shelter or defense point during the fierce days of the war.
This discovery is an important step in learning more about the history of the battlefield in the area. All the relics will be reported to historical organizations for research and preservation. Each search not only brings exciting discoveries but also helps us better understand the past and what previous generations experienced during the fierce war.
