Richard Tice became embroiled in a spat with a Green Party politician over his appearance on BBC Question Time. Green deputy leader Zack Polanski complained about TV and radio shows “constantly” featuring Reform MPs. But the Reform deputy leader accused Mr Polanski of sounding like a “dictator”.
It comes after the Boston and Skegness MP was on the panel for last night’s Question Time. Mr Polanski wrote on X: “Fiona Bruce jokes when Richard Tice keeps interrupting that she might have to put a gag on him.
“How about we stop having Reform on every single TV and radio show possible and constantly giving them a platform?
“It’s so obviously disproportionate. And it’s constant.”
But Mr Tice hit back: “So Reform UK are leading in national polls but you want us totally banned.
“You sound like a dictator who does not want democracy?”
Referring to the Green Party’s co-leaders, he added: “Are Carla Denyer and Adrian Ramsay happy with this?”
Last night’s Question Time, which was in Skipton in North Yorkshire, also featured Green MP Mr Ramsay, as well as Labour and Tory representatives.
