Support for Reform UK is growing daily with the party leading a series of national opinion polls and surpassing 200,000 members this month.

Leader Nigel Farage told Express.co.uk last week that there is a “good chance” he could be Britain’s next Prime Minister.

He said: “I just feel something remarkable is going on, something really historic, something we’ve never seen in our lifetimes,” adding that “there is a good chance I could be the next prime minister.”

A new poll published yesterday shows Reform UK six points ahead of Labour in another major boost for the party. The survey by Find Out Now puts Nigel Farage’s party on 29%, with Labour down two points from the week before on 23%.

Reform is now eight points ahead of the Tories who are on 21%, with Lib Dems on 12% and the Greens on 9% – both down one point.

This follows Reform topping a YouGov poll for the first time earlier this month as the party continues to make strides in British politics. Garnering a share of 25%, Labour were pushed into second place on 24% with the Tories in third at 21%.

The symbolic moment for Nigel Farage is likely to have sent shockwaves through the Conservative Party, who are trying to retain voters, despite polling at the lowest level since losing to Sir Keir Starmer’s party in July 2024.

As well as topping the polls, Reform’s membership number surged past 200,000 earlier this week. The party has its sights set on taking over the Labour Party’s total of 309,000 to become the “biggest political party in this country”.

Speaking at a regional conference with the party’s membership ticker behind him, the Clacton MP called Reform’s growth “truly extraordinary”.

He said: “Doesn’t it show you something is happening in this country? People want real political leadership. They want real change. That’s what that tells you.”
