New weather maps have shown the exact date when Britain could be set for another instalment of the wind and rain which has battered large parts of the UK.

New UK weather maps have revealed an Atlantic storm could uinleash December misery on millions of Britons.
The UK has been hit with a barrage of horrendous weather over the last week, as snow and Storm Bert continue to blight much of the country.
Severe flood warnings remain in place for parts of England, Scotland and Wales with heavy rain causing rivers to burst their banks.
Newly released data by WXCharts.com indicates more extreme conditions are on the way, with a large weather front barreling across the Atlantic in the first week of December.
According to the data, the weather front is expected to make landfall on the morning of December 7, bringing with it rain of up to 4mm per hour.

The weather looks set to bring with it wind of more than 40mph as Britain’s west coast braces for blustery conditions.
There may even be a return of the snow which blanketed much of the country last week, with the Scottish highlands and north east England the most likely to be hit.
The Met Office’s long-range forecast for November 30 until December 9 says: “Early next week, it looks like the rain in the west will edge further east, bringing a short spell of rain to the east.
“High pressure may then re-assert itself close to or over the UK through early December.
“The largely dry, settled theme may be punctuated by brief unsettled spells though with areas of low pressure possibly crossing the UK, bringing some spells of wind and rain.”
Currently, the weather looks set to be mild compared to that which has battered large parts of the country over the last week.

Yesterday, authorities in South Wales declared a major incident after dozens of homes, businesses and a number of schools were affected by flooding as Storm Bert wreaks chaos across the country.
Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, South Wales Fire & Rescue, Natural Resources Wales & South Wales Police have declared a major incident for the borough.
The council said the area has seen “significant” flooding with the “impact looking to be more significant than the severe impact experienced during Storm Dennis” in 2020.
Sir Chris Bryant, MP for Rhondda and Ogmore, said there are about 10 different areas in his constituency affected by flooding and a fundraising page has been set up to support people in need.
